CancerChoices.org is a program of the nonprofit Commonweal. It provides free, evidence-informed cancer education for patients and caregivers. The program explores nutrition, metabolic health, fasting, and complementary approaches alongside conventional cancer treatment. Its resources cover multiple forms of cancer, including breast cancer.
Why We Chose CancerChoices.org
We wanted to support a program willing to seriously examine the potential roles of nutrition, metabolic health, fasting, and lifestyle in cancer care—not one focused only on awareness.
CancerChoices.org stood out because it reviews emerging research, including studies involving fasting-mimicking diets during breast cancer treatment, while remaining honest that the evidence is still developing.
The program does not claim that fasting, ketogenic diets, or eliminating sugar are proven cancer treatments. Instead, it provides free information that patients and caregivers can use when speaking with their medical teams.
We also considered the strong independent charity rating behind the program and its clear donation process.
This approach reflects what JesterWhere wants these shirts to accomplish: support honest education, encourage deeper conversations, and help people explore responsible options without making promises that science has not established.
